Pin Up Girl

Today is the final day of Clerkenwell’s Design Week, which celebrates the creativity and innovation in architecture, interior design and art.  The next post will be dedicated to the pop-up exhibition, featuring plenty of photos. Here, though, is one of the main events, which took part of CDW – Lulu Guiness’ installation. The British handbag designer has created a life-sized pin art structure, which encourages guests to be creative and make their own full body sized portrait. The installation, inspired by Lulu’s autumn winter collection is constructed by 6000 aluminium pins, which change according to the individual body shape. Check out some of the most original designs on the facebook page or make your way to Clerkenwell and have some fun trying your own artistic skills. Below is my creation, not quite sure what it is, but hey, this is art, n’est pas?
