Multitasking is a hard job and it’s got a high price to pay – lack of sleep and social life is one. But it certainly pays in the end when you see your first article published. I started contributing to London Confidential a few months ago and am glad that the website is becoming more and more popular. Check out my articles on Design Week, beauty products and new names on the fashion scene. But keep it confidential – just between you and me!

Topshop's Secret
It’s no secret that Topshop is all about bohemian dresses and vintage-inspired pieces. Even more so in their Secret Store, finally revealed last week. The hidden pop-up space at their Oxford Circus boutique offers a range of specially created pieces of clothing and jewellery. Collaborations with Michael Van Der Ham, Nasir Mazhar and Pamela Love are among the surprises in store for the Topshop customers. Some of the Unique’s best sellers have been revived for the special project and could be found only in the shopping space. The chamber of secret shopping is hidden behind specially curated flower stalls by the designer duo Meadham Kirchhoff. Can you keep a secret?

It's a Hats World
Not long ago my mother shared with me her biggest fear concerning her daughter’s graduation – she did not have a fancy hat a la Philip Treacy for the ceremony. The panic attack was soon over, but I kept thinking about the importance of hats in British society. Just in time came my discovery of this tiny hat shop, which celebrates the millinery tradition and craftsmanship. Recently opened in Mayfair, the boutique is dedicated entirely to hats. I had the chance to briefly chat with one of the representatives of the Dutch brand, which has boutiques in both Amsterdam and Dusseldorf. Some of the pieces, which were on display, were specially created by Royal College of Art graduates Soren Bach, Justin Smith and Noel Steward. After half an hour’s considerations of getting myself a lovely panama hat, I left the store empty handed, but knowing I will be back pretty soon.
