River Island’s interpretation of summer 2012 is a wild mixture of colours, fabrics and textures. The inspiration could be traced back in time, from the neoprene digital fabrics of 90s sportswear to the sultry and sexy spirit of 50s Miami. No need to stick to a single era, though. The brand has managed to reinvent the classics, adding contemporary style and edginess to this bolder, bigger and more daring collection.
